This website, owned by Kes Sambhal Parchar Sanstha, is an experiment in propagating the Sikh religion. It presents to the seekers requisite knowledge about Sikh religion in the form of questions and answers, both in English and Punjabi under the following categories:
- Masters and the word Divine
- Sikh History
- Sikh Concepts and Teachings
- Prominent Places and Persons
- Sikh way of living
- Sikh culture and Heritage
Seekers can also ask any questions not covered in the above categories, and our specialists will answer the questions online.
There will ultimately be a platform for 'testing the knowledge' of seekers, with two tests: one of 10 questions and the second of 25 questions. The answers to all these questions will be of one or two words or of picking the options.
The seeker will answer ten questions online and if his eight answers are correct he will get a C certificate generated automatically on the platform, which he can print out. Similarly on the second test, he will have to answer 25 questions and if 20 answers are correct, a B certificate will be automatically generated.
Questions in these tests will be changed periodically. Nobody can have more than one certificate by answering the same questions.
There will also be an annual exam, to be conducted two weeks before the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. In this exam only those seekers can appear who have won at least one C or B certificate. Those scoring 80 percent marks in this exam, having 45 objective type questions and 5 questions with descriptive answers, will get A certificate.
The first three position holders in this exam will get attractive cash prizes and books along with certificates. Those who will have five certificates in the relevant year in total (A, B and C combined) will also get consolation prizes in the form of cash and books at the time of annual results on the Parkash Purab day of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji every year.
